#BFW2012 – Birmingham Fashion Week 2012! Yeah!

I had the privilege to cover this AMAZING event. So much talent everywhere. I can definitely talk endlessly about how good, creative and professional everyone was but I rather let the images speak for themselves. By the way, I pitched the story and images for a couple of magazines, hopefully we'll get something interesting out of that. All and all many, many, many thanks to the organization for allowing me to get these images. Thank you Birmingham Fashion Week!

Photoshoot – Fredericksburg, Texas {Birmingham Fashion Photographer}

For those who know me they know I travel... a lot from time to time. I had the great opportunity to shoot a talented bunch, and I am not referring only to the models, the amount of creative people was just beyond believe. Now if I can only give credit to everyone I would but you know who did who and also you know that I am very appreciative of your time, dedication and talent. Anyway, after almost 2k images here are some of my favorites.

Beauty and Brains (lol)… Lisha Li

Lisha was one of the first models we photographed out of ModelMayhem. She seemed really nice and very photogenic. Once we met her she was awesome! super smart and just a natural talent. I had the opportunity to photograph her before she was named one of Birmingham's most beautiful people by the Birmingham Magazine, but wait! there's more... she is a successful lawyer and a plays the violin!! well, there is not much left to say about her other than she was amazing and what a privilege to work with her. Here are some images from our shoot in March, Jackie did an awesome job with Makeup and Kerry...

To the Birthday girl… Beth Bishop!

I had the honor to work with Beth about six months ago. She is an amazing actress and a wonderful model... she's kind of a big deal :-). First of all, I just looooved the concept for this shoot. We were able to get in the Lyric Theater, in downtown Birmingham thanks to Amy. For those not very familiar with the place I can tell you that is amazing. There are so many places inside to shoot it's ridiculous. There is a caveat: The place is almost in ruins in renovation and there is  lead paint and probably asbestos dust everywhere ;-) (j/k) Needless to say Beth was a trooper, a professional model committed to...

Weekend shoot

What a fun weekend! I had the great oportunity to work with Aarendy Gomez and Marena Crauswell again! Aarendy is from Click Models and Marena is independent. Both live in Alabama and they are just awesome. Anyway, I met Aarendy last year in a supershoots event in Atlanta, she was crazy good and exchanged contact information, great to work with her again. I met Marena through Lawren Pope while doing a photoshoot for her fall 2011 line (I think she still have one of my images in her front page. By the way, Lawren is a very, very talented fashion designer -go and like her facebook page here-)....

Giving Back…

Last month I had the great opportunity to participate as a photographer for a modeling camp. What a cool idea and further more, I was very happy to donate my time to help! There are really some serious talent in Alabama (especially in the Gadsden area). What a good bunch of aspiring models. I was really welcomed there and just only wish to had more time to go through all the talent. Anyway, a big thanks to Brittany Lynn for inviting me and look forward for the next event. Here are some images from the models:
